Activities Week 2024

We are drawing to a close on this year's Activities Week. It has been a week packed full of different events and experiences which have enabled students to learn, work with new people, have fun and challenge themselves. We have been impressed with how the students have adapted to a completely different routine this week and really pushed themselves out of their comfort zone helping and supporting each other as part of our school community. 

It is a massive organisational event to ensure that all students, across all years, have a range of new experiences and opportunities. With Year 10 and Year 12 out of school on very varied work experience, and two residential trips:  to the Rhineland for Year 7 and to Norfolk for  Year 9 Water Sports, the rest of the school enjoyed 16 day trips and 38 separate activities. the logistics are dazzling.

And not to forget that the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Gold expedition is currently doing their final in the Lake District and Bronze students beginning to hone their skills in the Surrey Hills.
