A Day at Colgate Palmolive

Four of our Year 12 students who are part of the Young Enterprise Programme offered by the school and who have created a company called Eezykit with four other students, were selected to spend a day at the Corporate HQ of Colgate-Palmolive recently.

Accompanied by their YE Business Advisor, the students had a full programme of experiencing the working world in a multinational organisation, including:

* "a day in the life" working at Colgate Palmolive

* induction of business areas, rotating across functions, attending key business meeting

* meeting the CP team, sharing their experiences, career aspirations/progression

* taking part in an activity challenge.

The students had a great experience and they felt the day helped broaden their knowledge/optimism for the future and expanded their knowledge of different roles in the workplace and job opportunities.

The Colgate team were impressed by our students too:
