News and Events:
Sixth Form Garden: Over the Summer 2008 term, the Eco-Committee designed a garden for the Sixth Form students. They wanted to create a place where students could relax and enjoy the outdoors. The Entitlement Gardening Group are now adding plants to the area.

...and this is what it looked like before work started!

Visit to ISOenergy: In February 2008 the Eco-Committee visited ISOenergy in Horley to find out about renewable energy. We are now investigating options for the school site.

Fair Trade Fortnight: In March 2008 we made cakes and cookies using Fair Trade ingredients. These were sold in school at break and lunchtimes. Thanks to staff and students we raised £93 for the school charities.

Eco-Committee Trip On 31st January 2007 the Eco-Committee visited Leatherhead Recycling Centre, to find out exactly what happens to our recycling.
Eco Schools: The Ashcombe School has achieved Bronze status. Congratulations to the Eco-Committee who are to be thanked for all their hard work.
