Ashcombe Home Page>Curriculum>MFL>French index> French Christmas Resources

A page with some great links from an electronic French magazine. Great for finding out the words for popular presents. Write your own Christmas list and send it to your friends!

A lovely site: write to Santa, virtual cards, interactive games, songs & stories, recipes. the ‘plan du site' gives a good overview. Tell pupils not to download anything and to close the adverts as they come.

Jennifer's Language Page: Jennifer seems to spend all her time collecting words and phrases in different languages. There are languages here that I had never heard about before. I found a link to over 300 different ways of saying "Merry Christmas"

There's a site with craft activities, some attractive French virtual cards and clip art inter alia - not much in the way of games but could amuse quieter students. Each activity has three headings: how the activity develops the child, what you need, and how to do it.
